What do you think of when you look at this picture?
It makes me think of the disciples. Who knew that one evening when they all got in to this small boat they would witness first hand Christ WALKING on water! And the eagerness of Peter (my favorite bible character) - So, you can debate about him falling in the water -- we've all heard that. But, how many times do we do that? We get sooooo excited to exercise our faith, we take the initial few steps, then something distracts us and we fall.
What I wanted to encourage myself and any of you who are reading this is - Even when we do FALL, we don't fall alone!
To keep it real - I've fallen many many times and still do. But, the knowledge that Christ is pulling me up as soon as I fall is amazing!
"Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
Be assured that we ALL fall, but the hardest decision is if we'll let HIM pull us out.
