Philippians 1:27

how sharply i was reminded today of a verse that the Lord has put on my heart for the past few months -- "Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ."

praise God for His continual grace and provision. while this afternoon was the end of one assignment that God had placed me at -- doors are opening - and i'm being stretched and reminded that He is ALWAYS faithful. no matter what my circumstances may look like, God is NEVER taken by surprise by the twists and turns of our lives. isn't that refreshing! NOTHING is a surprise to God.

i know that i makes jokes a lot that my life is a tv show, sometimes i feel like it's the truman show or something -- but, after some dear people to me said such kind things about my character and the ways i've encouraged them -- i can't tell you how humbling it was to me.

God is most fully known in the midst of chaos. since most of my life is in the midst of chaos, and it makes me uncomfortable -- it hopefully is making me grow in godliness. i pray this would continue in my life and yours. i pray that people look at your character and instead of seeing you - they see Christ. i pray that no matter how rough it gets, no matter how many times you feel you've been defeated -- remember that so much more has been defeated on your behalf -- things that you are not able to defeat on your own. that is why each and every one of us needs a perfect sacrifice. Thankfully, we have that in Christ.
