... as usual it's been quite a challenging week, and it's not over. the Lord is gracious in allowing me to work through things - waiting on His timing, my own insecurities, feeling the need to prove myself to people in authority... and i'm tired! thankfully, tomorrow "d" (diane) is coming to town and then we're flying to TX this weekend. i'll spend a day in austin by myself which i'm definitely in need of -- a day of visiting the state capitol and ut. maybe there will be a james avery store around too!

i need some rest -- and i don't quite know what that looks like in reality. it's as though i know i need rest, but there's so much to do, and if i slow down i'll miss something. yeah, that is pretty selfish!
