... what i learned this weekend ...

... the Lord is so gracious and indeed does answer prayers. ten years ago i prayed that i wanted to be a part of Truth For Life
and 10 years later - i get to work with them on their website.

that meant i returned home to cleveland. it was so much easier then i thought it would be. there was time for me to meet up with 3 friends from college that i haven't seen in years. a friend of mine that i dearly missed will actually be travelling to dc often over the course of the next few months. i'll get to see her a lot. what a blessing.

... and the most important thing that i took away from this weekend that i found encouraging was something that alistair begg said,"2006 has not surprised God." what an encouragement that is! as i look at the youth of today and can easily get discouraged, what a great reminder that He is in control.

the memory verse for the weekend was 1 peter 1:24-25 that's a good reminder too!
