Wow! Today is my dad's birthday - He would have been 58 today. And it's amazing to me how this year it's really hit me hard. I miss him so much. Life is just not the same without him. What an amazing encouragement to know that I'll spend eternity with him in heaven.
The Lord has been so good to me and yet I feel that there is so much I want to do. Makes me aware that none of us really know how long we have on this side of heaven. If we truly do love Christ, we need to and should want to be representation to those who do not know him.
Isaiah 6:8 "And then I heard the voice of the Lord say, "Who will go? Whom shall I send?" And I replied, "Here I am, send me!"
My prayer is that this upcoming year that is our hearts cry.

Wow! This is a step back about 28 years! I love this picture though so I had to post it. It makes me smile to see this, and miss my dad of course. Did I even know what Christmas was then? All I know is that I got a sweet Radio Flyer for Christmas!
Really, Now that I know what Christmas is truly about and who Christmas is really for - the question is... what do I do daily to reflect the joy I have in Christ's birth? What are you doing this holiday season to demonstrate the same love that Christ brought in to this world?

Merry Christmas!

Incase you haven't realized... my love's are in this order... Christ, Navy, coffee -

Tomorrow is like the greatest Christmas present ever! And I get to experience it every year! If you have not been to an Army/Navy game - you're missing out!

What a rivalry and at the same time an honor - these mids and cadets are going to some day in the near future defend our country and the very freedom that we take for granted daily. Their lives are selfess, they are putting others before themselves.

But, let's not forget my friends, Jesus was the first member of the Navy... He walked on water :)

HOOOAH!
