Ok... so, I'm not sure if I've told many people about my vision for a project I'd like to see become a reality some day. I am all about relationships as most of ya know. But, I see a humungonacious problem with race. While we are some what attempting to face the issues that cause racism etc. we need to do way more. Anyway, some day I want to have a house in DC and allow it to be a place where youth from all races are welcomed, encouraged and feel at home there. It would be a place that would provide tutoring, mentoring and projects that the youth and leaders would do in the surrounding city. It would obviously be a Christian based facility where the kids and leaders would hear about Christ.
The name of the organization would be "GO PUBLIC" because unless we truly face our problems and the parts of us individually that need fixing, then we aren't going to move forward in this fight.

And a job update... I've interviewed with an organization that I would love to work with. And, if this is what the Lord has been preparing for during this time of challenge for me - then Amen! The job would be with Russ Reid, a non-profit lobbying firm. www.russreid.com - I'd be a legislative assistant, and they would pay for training/classes for me to learn more about the field and would line me up in an environment that would promote me to become a lobbyist myself. So, if you're reading this, please pray for favor by the people who are looking at me as a candidate. And pray that wherever God puts me, that my work will be honoring to Him. And I pray that if you're reading this that no matter what your life it like today that you are living it with purpose. Read John 3:30 for some insight.
